This project was part of “KeepBox,” an exhibition to commemorate Salina artist, Peggy Medina. Peggy was a much loved and respected member of the Salina art community where she worked as an artist and gallery owner. I first met her when she was the gallery director at Kansas Wesleyan University. Her sensitivity to both individual artists and their work resulted in thoughtful, well-selected, beautifully displayed exhibits. I will remember her as creative and kind.
